Adipurush: Before Ram Mandir Inauguration

People are infuriated about Adipurush movie alleging that the makers played with Hindu sentiment visualizing the characters of Ramayana in a way to diminish the Great Epic & to belittle the characters thereof. 

Being unmasked by Ajeet Bharti, Nupur J Sharma and many others, Adipurush makers got exposed as mere charlatans. Manoj Muntasir faced the maximum flak and obloquy as he had built up a Hindu image of himself which was utilized by those who funded the making of #Adipurush.

Makers of such movies identified it right that Ramkatha has that universal appeal in Bharatvarsha. Whenever, whosoever, wherever makes a Ramkatha in whichever form of performing arts, people go watching it. Even then, makers of Adipurush became cautious to choose front faces like #manojmuntashir who had built up a ground of his own amongst #Hindus by writing some verses which appealed to Bharatiya minds. 

Had, in Muntasir’s place, it been Javed Akhtar as dialogue-writer, people of Bharat would surely condemn it & not watch. Hence, they needed such apparently credible faces like Manoj Muntasir, Om Raut etc. so that they could drag people to the cinema halls on the first day to watch what they made. The sole apparent purpose being insulting Ramkatha & the Great Epic itself, making people watch it & feel the scornful humiliation was necessary for the makers.

All these are out of lethal anger and vengeance as Bharat is going to witness Ram Mandir inauguration? Who paid Om Raut and Manoj Muntasir to be the front faces of Adipurush can be guessed. In #WestBengal we are exposed to such nefarious plot of vituperation of our Deities. Aren't we?

I understood from Ajeet Bharti's elaboration that Adipurush had shown both Shri Ram & Lakshman’Ji watched Maa Sita's abduction & Jatayu's fight against Ravana. Make no mistake this is in congruence with what Islamists promulgate about Shri Ram. We have heard #TheKeralaStoryFilm dialogue being spoken by the character Asifa denigrating Shri Ram “jo apni biwi ko protect nahi kar pate hain woh tumhe protect kaise karenge?” 

To substantiate such narrative, it was required to show that Shri Ram witnessed the abduction of Sita & couldn’t prevent it while this is in complete deviation from the Great Epic Ramayan. 

It was required to denigrate Hanuman’Ji too as they are trying to turn the word #Bhakt a scornful slur. They engage in disparaging portrayal of Rambhaktas in the political environment of Bharatvarsha and Bajrang Hanuman'Ji is the original Ram Bhakta. So makers of Adipurush perhaps had specific objective to denigrate Mahaveer’s persona, much similar to the way they calumniate common Hindu mass having unwavering faith on Shri Ram & Hanuman’Ji. As I haven’t seen the movie, nor shall I ever see it, I am not aware of all scenes of Adipurush & can't decode all of them for my readers. 

The name Adipurush too deserves due attention. Concept of an Adipurush #adam is an Abrahamic concept. But here in the movie, did they attempt to equate Shri Ram with Adam, the Abrahamic Adipurush? Abrahamic religions do NOT equate women with men but clearly state that God created men first & women later from the ribs of men so as to cater to men's specific needs. From such perspective, portraying Shri Ram as Adipurush (following Abrahamic concept) itself is denigration of Maa Sita as Sanaatan portrays both men & women as complementary parts of Paramaatma. Maa Sita is not Eve but Jagajjanani Brahmamayee Mahalaxmi. It is impossible for Abrahamics to realize & accept this because their faith is basically rooted in inequality of men and women which is not the case for Sanatan.

After Adipurush, talks are in the air that Bollywood would perhaps make another movie on Ramayan starring Ranbir Kapoor as Shri Ram. Beware! Before & after Ram Mandir inauguration, incessant attacks on Hindu faith on Shri Ram should be apprehended.

Such attacks may be prevented by means of bringing in a very harsh anti-blasphemy legislation creating provision for realization of astronomically large sum of penalty money, say, 1,000 times the production cost or lifetime imprisonment of prime crews whichever appears costlier.
