Movie Review: RAZAKAR
Razakar is a duly well-made movie based on historic facts. While there is nothing fictional in the movie, the presentation of various incidents is loud & hard-hitting just as South movies generally are. Nizam's Army (Razakars) under the leadership of the radical Islamic bigot Qasim Rizvi, a pure monster, had rampaged on the ground to ravage the Hindu society from all angles— economic, social, political and last but not the least, religious. They engaged in bloody episodes of communal genocide in order to convert Hindus & grab their properties. The Razakars didn't spare those one or two Muslims too who resisted against their evil action-plan. Post poll violence 2021 in West Bengal was a 21st century version of the same oppression. The movie has shown different episodes of resistance against such Razakars by Hyderabad's common populace with their limited capacity & the resultant bloody devastation till Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel sent Indian Army to annex Hyderabad ...
